KRO-NCRV’s drama series the Crash has won the Golden Calf for Best Drama Series 2022! The prize was awarded on Friday evening, September 30, during the Golden Calf Gala.

The Crash series is a reality-based conspiracy thriller about one of the most controversial disasters of the last century: the plane crash in the Bijlmer. In the series, journalists Vincent Dekker and Pierre Heijboer, together with veterinarian Asha Willems, go in search of the truth about this disaster. The series is written by Michael Leendertse and produced by Big Blue. The direction was in the hands of Lourens Blok and Edson da Conceicao. The lead roles are played by Thomas Höppener (Vincent Dekker), Yorick van Wageningen (Pierre Heijboer) and Joy Delima (Asha Willems).
The Crash can be seen from September 29 at 9.30 pm at KRO-NCRV on NPO 1 or to look ahead on NPO Plus.
