Big Blue’s original show, The Crash, has been nominated as a finalist in in C21’s International Drama Awards in the category of Non-English-Language Drama Series.
Already awarded with the Golden Calf (Dutch Oscar) for best drama series in the Netherlands. The Crash received stellar ratings for all five episodes and was one of the most-viewed series on NPO1 of the past five years. It has already been sold to over ten countries by international distributor Studiocanal.
This nomination is a great distinction. The C21 International Drama Awards are set to recognize the best in global scripted creativity through one of the most highly regarded awards shows in the business. The awards are judged by more than 100 of the world’s leading drama commissioners and buyers, making them unique in being The Business on The Business awards for scripted television. C21 Drama Awards finalists announced The finalists have been announced in C21’s International Drama Awards, which are voted for by the world’s leading scripted commissioners and buyers from more than 500 entries across 11 categories. The winners will be announced at the International Drama Awards Ceremony on November 30th.
