The limited high-end series The Crash receives production funding support from the NPO-fund. The Crash is a five-part limited series created for NPO1 in collaboration with KRO-NCRV. It is a conspiracy thriller based on true events, centered around one of the most controversial disasters that took place in Holland during the 20th century: the airplane that crashed into the Biljmermeer in Amsterdam.
The series is created by head writer Michael Leendertse and Lourens Blok will be directing together with co-director Edson da Conceicao.
Shooting will start this fall.
